I’m a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC). My goal here is to provide a safe space for people to heal trauma and learn skills to regulate their nervous system, having a healthier and balanced life, knowing there’s growth and that it’s possible to heal from it. I work with clients dealing with trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions and needing a sense of empowerment and a solid foundation to deal with life’s challenges.
Experiencing the consequences of trauma in our mental health and bodies can be an intense thing. My focus is to share space, giving support, walking along with you while you walk the journey of understanding the roots of pain, suffering, and discomfort. We were never meant to do it alone. From an empathic and compassionate place, I approach the therapeutic process from a client-centred, collaborative lens. I draw from somatic, narrative therapy and mind body connection. I like to bring breathwork and mindfulness as a way to calm the nervous system and allow space in our minds to process our emotions. One of my main focus is on Polygaval Theory and teaching clients about their nervous system as well as learning somatic exercises to connect with their bodies and bring themselves back into regulation.
