Hello, I’m Luna (she/her/any), an Asian-European queer, trilingual therapist (RTC, DVATI) based in Vancouver. Born in China and raised in Belgium, my multicultural background has always been of precious help to both understand and connect with clients hailing from diverse cultures.

My therapeutic approach is client-centered and trauma-informed; it integrates a variety of modalities that includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), Jungian principles (archetypes, dreamwork, active imagination), and Somatic Art Therapy. I specialize in providing assistance to women going through significant life transitions: separation, aging, becoming ill or disabled… as well as to women facing challenges including but not limited to depression, sexual trauma, chronic health issues, and career burnout. My practice revolves around a deep dive into family dynamics with the objective of healing from family trauma. Furthermore, I dedicate part of my efforts to providing support for clients dealing with racism, discrimination, and immigration-related trauma.I am committed to helping individuals, couples and neurodivergent families navigate their unique challenges.

If you’re drawn to a therapeutic path that celebrates diversity, creativity, depth psychology, and personalised care, I would be honoured to accompany you.

Q Are your sessions covered by insurance, or is it an out-of-pocket expense?

Coverage for my sessions depends on your insurance provider and plan. Some insurance plans may cover Registered Therapeutic Counsellors (RTC) as part of mental health benefits, while others may require it to be an out-of-pocket expense. I recommend contacting your insurance provider for specific coverage details. You can verify my credentials using my license number 3148 under the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists (ACCT).
For clients with SunLife insurance, I am registered as a SunLife provider, and my services are covered under the category of clinical counsellors.

Q I see you offer art therapy, I am curious but I can't draw.

You don't need any artistic skills to benefit from art therapy; it's simply another way to view the world and express yourself, helping to bring your unconscious feelings to the surface. In my sessions, your art is never judged or interpreted by me. Instead, I guide you in understanding your own creations. Art therapy is just one of the modalities I offer. If you prefer, we can continue with talk therapy alone. My practice is client-centered, so your comfort is always my top priority.
