As an art therapist, painter, and educator, I believe creativity can open pathways to healing that words alone cannot reach. In my practice, I provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your story through art, reflection, and dialogue. Together, we work at your pace to navigate challenges, discover new perspectives, and reconnect with your inner resilience.

I work with individuals who are facing experiences of loss, shame, trauma, and identity struggles, as well as those navigating mental health and substance use challenges. My approach blends talk therapy with creative expression, allowing clients to access emotions, memories, and insights that may feel difficult to express verbally.

In our sessions, you don’t need to consider yourself “artistic” to benefit—art therapy is about process, not product. Whether through paint, collage, or simple mark-making, creative work can offer relief, self-discovery, and a deeper connection to yourself.

I also bring my background as a figurative painter and facilitator into my practice, weaving together art, psychology, and community to create a holistic approach to healing.

My practice is grounded in:
• Art Therapy – using creativity as a bridge to healing and self-expression
• Trauma-Informed Care – supporting clients with compassion, safety, and respect
• Identity & Sexuality – creating affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals
• Grief & Loss – navigating complex emotions with gentleness and presence
• Substance Use & Recovery – helping clients build resilience and self-understanding

I also hold a special interest in the power of witnessing in therapy—the transformative act of being truly seen, both in conversation and through the creative process.

I am a professional art therapist based in Vancouver with a background in figurative painting and a deep commitment to exploring themes of the body, sexuality, identity, and the human condition. Originally from Northern Ireland, I carry with me the perspective of having grown up in a society marked by sectarian division, violence, and exclusion—experiences that inform my dedication to creating safe, inclusive, and creative spaces for healing.

Alongside my private practice, I facilitate workshops, retreats, and community-based art projects that center resilience, visibility, and creative expression.
