About Me

We all struggle with insecurities and uncertainties, as they are part of life. But some circumstances can put these human conditions at the forefront of our experience, creating debilitating self-doubt and stress. You may have past or present issues triggering excessive self-criticism, or you might've realized that you've been living up to someone else’s standards for a long time and you don't know where you stand. Perhaps, you’ve been carrying the hurt from toxic relationships or rejection. Some interpersonal dynamics can be very harmful and create a sense of confusion as to what to believe and who to trust. These can happen within families, communities, and friendships. Sometimes religion and spirituality are used to justify these damaging relational patterns. It's not about trying harder or being someone you're not. Change is precisely into yourself, into more of yourself than you've been able to be so far. My approach is Experiential, which draws from humanistic, existential and gestalt modalities. When we pay attention to how we experience, we can learn more about ourselves and the changes needed in our lives than just by thinking about ourselves. The goal is to gain understanding and confidence to respond to external demands while attending to your needs in a conscious and rewarding exchange. One of my areas of practice is stress and conflict related to spirituality and religion. Visit my webpage for more information. I'm a Clinical Counsellor registered with ACCT and CPCA. One of my biggest passions is supporting my clients in finding a congruent sense of self and experiencing a genuine connection with others. I'm currently accepting clients for online and in-person individual counselling. I offer services in English and Spanish.
