Known to her clients as the Heartful Healer, Nina Fields (Khema) is an established Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC), Parent Consultant, Intuitive Healer, Mindfulness Guide, Pilates Teacher, and loving Mother to two heartful children. She was given the Buddhist Pali Name, ‘Khema’, by her teacher in 2015. The name ‘Khema’ means ‘secure, well-composed, settled’. After facing many trials and difficult transitions in her own life, this name guides her to a place of inner well-being and refuge amidst all the inevitable uncertainties of life. Her name is a reminder that each of us can feel “secure, well-composed and settled” even amidst the most trying and difficult periods of our lives. Nina has over twenty years of experience helping people break through their inner barriers to find clarity and well-being. She holds a BA in Psychology and is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC), accredited with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada. She is also a certified Parent Consultant and Course Facilitator for the Neufeld Institute and has decades of experience working with at-risk youth. Nina skillfully guides her clients through critical transitions in their lives, including recovery from addiction, divorce, separation, loss and the many manifestations of trauma and anxiety. Specializing in relational-based therapy and mindful parenting, Nina also has a thriving private practice, offering one-on-one counselling sessions online, in Britannia Beach and in the Greater Vancouver Area of British Columbia.
