I feel it's safe to say that we have all felt a little lost at times in our life. I too have had experiences that took me to a place of fear and anxiety, not knowing where my life was going. I felt scared and alone, my mind racing with unaccustomed thoughts. Thankfully I found an amazing therapist who helped me through this transitional time in my life by teaching me the tools and strategies to help me thrive again. It was through this experience I learned that everything we experience today, is connected to our past. By uncovering, recognizing, and understanding our core conditioning we are able to find the path to healing. As an artist, I am a strong believer in mindfulness and art therapy, both incredibly effective tools that help us access our subconscious minds where our wounds are often stored. It is extremely important for me to practice a wholistic mindset in my personal life. In my counselling practice, this is no different. Our mind, body connection must be aligned in order to find a line through to feeling fully alive.
