About Me

I am an RTC(c) currently accepting practicum counseling clients until March 2025 at a reduced rate of $75/hour. As an Intermediate level student of the Somatic Experiencing model of trauma therapy, I work with biological survival responses to help facilitate the body’s innate capacity for safety and resilience. I work with clients who suffer from symptoms such as anxiety, depression, hyper-vigilance, difficulty sleeping, headaches, chronic pain, trouble paying attention, and numbness. They may feel disconnected from themselves, others, and life. Often these symptoms result from overwhelming experiences that need to come to successful completion in the body's physiology. When the nervous system comes back to a state of rest and balance, clients have greater access to a range of feelings and sensations, a sense of being grounded and connection to self, a greater ability to make choices, and to develop health-supporting internal and external boundaries. I am a human who has experienced both trauma and the innate human capacity for healing, I understand this journey. I create a safe and non-judgemental space to support recovery from experiences that have overwhelmed the nervous system. I am passionately committed to working with trauma from this perspective. Please reach out if this sounds like what you're seeking.
