I offer insight-oriented therapy for clients who want to break through old emotional or behavioural patterns. I provide a free first session to determine if we're a good fit (and can offer referrals if not), but I work well with clients who appreciate a collaborative process that goes deep and includes thoughtful questioning as well as support. Therapy with me includes support and validation, but it's also about what will make you feel better in the long term, not just in-session. I help you develop insight, build emotional resilience, and gradually untie knots and changing patterns that may have been in place for years.
Sessions are steady and collaborative. At times we’ll explore deeper patterns - including different “parts” of the psyche and how they interact - and at times we’ll focus on practical ways to regain stability and direction. Some areas I specialize in include anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, and past experiences which have left a lasting mark on you.
My background is in philosophy, which I studied at Cambridge and Oxford before training as a therapist. It informs a way of working that is reflective, curious, focused on meaning, open to existential questions, and interested in what lies beneath immediate problems. I’ve also spent many years doing my own personal work.
I offer a sliding-scale rate to help make therapy accessible. Contact me below to find a time for an exploratory first session.
