I enjoy bringing all my training and life experiences to my hypnotherapy sessions. I have been practicing hypnotherapy for 18 years. My passion is hypnotherapy because I find it effective and efficient. However, I also use other popular approaches such as exposure therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness and creative play therapy when appropriate. I have additional experience in business as an entrepreneur, manager and team builder. My clients come from all walks of life and have a variety of backgrounds and issues. Most of my clients suffer from a few common problems such as: high stress, anxiety, confusion, trauma, burnout, fear and loss. Hypnotherapy is a powerful therapeutic approach that involves a pleasant conversation while in a hypnotic trance. The point of the conversation is to encourage a form of resolution and closure regarding a problem. Modern approaches to anxiety and trauma are used within this trance state. Hypnotherapists are trained by a qualified, experienced hypnotherapist.
There are many ways to describe hypnosis. As a hypnotherapist, I am only concerned with a specific form of hypnosis. In my practice, hypnosis is induced through a pleasant, gentle and relaxing induction. My clients are encouraged to communicate and explore possibilities that they wouldn't normally consider out side of a trance state. For this reason it is an empowering creative experience. Clients often finish sessions feeling refreshed, hopeful and progressive.
