I help teens, adults and families understand and manage the root cause of their anxiety. People often spend a great deal of time trying to find the why. “Why am I so anxious in social settings?” Why does anxiety make my body feel this way?” “Why is my child okay at home but anxious at school?” I believe knowledge is power and having productive solutions and strategies result from asking How. “How do I manage the anxiety?” “How do I get myself to do things that are important to me?” “How do I support someone else with their anxiety?” I show and teach what to do differently.
As a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, I teach my clients the importance of nutrition and the role it plays not just in our physical health but our mental health as well. I also have a special interest in working with those that are struggling with grief and support those navigating Blended/Step Families.
My approach is holistic, intuitive, integrative and trauma informed. I draw from Polyvagal, Somatic, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Brainspotting. Ultimately, my goal is to provide you a place where you feel safe, heard, and understood. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
