Dawn Hinze works with EMDR and she can be reached at: https://throughthelookingglass.ca/

A lot of people arrive at therapy having already done significant work on themselves. They’ve read the books. They understand their patterns. They can trace exactly where things went sideways.

And they’re still stuck.

That’s not a failure of insight. Some experiences don’t resolve through understanding alone — they need a different kind of attention.

That’s what I offer here: two approaches, used thoughtfully, depending on what you’re carrying and what your system is ready for, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) or Trauma informed professional counselling.

During our initial consultation we can talk about both approaches and how one or both may fit best for you.
