Dr. Judy Jaunzems-Fernuk, RTC, MTC

Hello and welcome!

My name is Judy and I am first and foremost a mother with three great boys, ages 13, 18, and 25. I am also an educator and mental health practitioner with twenty years of experience in public and private practice.

With Prairie Sky Education (Personal and Professional Support Services) , I offer a variety of individual and group supports: specializing in anxiety and stress management; behavioural supports; classroom management; parental and caregiver support; in additional to personal and professional growth plans and the development of self-esteem for a sense of overall wellness in work and life.

For the most part, I coach parents and teachers, among other caregivers, to manage or prevent burnout by effecting calm within, including in their homes, classrooms, and workspaces. I assess individual and group needs first and then guide people through strategies and supports with inherent skill building; so they may master their emotions, manage stress, and provide leadership and management for others that positively impacts their environments. 

My coaching, consulting, and counselling programs and services vary, depending on the person / people at the centre of the work, however, each are built or blended around something I call, The Human Curriculum™; a model I use to help you thrive in work and in life that teaches skills and provides tools you can start using right away.  

Currently, many of my clients are teachers and parents working to manage the stress of the impact of Covid-19 in their homes and classrooms; and I work to support key understandings around the cycle of stress and managing key emotions for kids and adults alike; empowering those who support kids to feel strengthened in their work.
