Hello and welcome to Wolf Moon Counselling. My name is Evan Johnson. I’m a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC), #3363, with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada. Thank you for taking the time to visit and read my profile on your search for finding the right counsellor.
I assist people experiencing difficulties in relationships or within themselves; those who feel a need to enhance their self-knowledge, emotional acceptance, growth, and well-being.
As a potential client, you may be wanting to explore a variety of issues. This could include your development, personal problems, strengths and vulnerabilities, decision making, inner conflict, feelings and beliefs, needs and goals, relationships, or living a more satisfying and resourceful life.
Your goals may include growth, improved functioning, learning to cope with stressors, recovery, and more.
I offer therapeutic counselling using methods and techniques that are relational, conversational, somatic, expressive, and educational. I support wellness by building knowledge and skills for adapting to the stressors of life. My practice is informed by counselling theories, research, ethics, human diversity, and a variety of traditions.
I tend to prefer humanistic and person-centred counselling, but also like to use eclectic or holistic techniques to address the body, emotions, mind, and soul. I ground this with a structured, sequential, and systematic approach. In sessions, we’ll work together to:
