Are you feeling hopeless, lost, and overwhelmed? Do you long to live instead of simply survive? As a result of healing myself from childhood sexual abuse, I now specialise in supporting people on their own healing journey. Trauma does not only mean the obvious big ones, many people suffer from ‘micro traumas’. This means all the many ways we can feel invisible and not heard, like we don’t matter. When we’re young this can happen when caregivers are going through their own crises; mental, emotional or physical illness, loss in their own life, or we have a seriously ill sibling, or we experience poverty, bullying at school and so on. When this happens we change and adapt in order to survive. This is necessary when we’re young however as an adult this prevents us from living a full life. I am passionate about supporting people through their traumas into finding their true magnificent self. We are not what was done to us!
I use a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities: Family Systems Theory, Reparenting/Inner Child Work, Somatic practices, CBT, DBT, and also my own practical experience from raising my 6 children and caring for elderly parents.
