I operate a private practice at a serene location in Langley, BC. I believe that in order to begin healing, we first need to feel safe enough to let someone see us in our vulnerability. I create an open, non-judgemental space to facilitate that journey. By digging deep into ourselves, we are able to find the connection between our current struggles to wounds that were created long ago in our childhood. Through empathy, radical acceptance and experiential exercises, I help clients shift their old believes and reframe them to make space for creating new ones.
My passion for therapeutic work stems from my own life experiences and personal challenges. Through my healing with trauma, I was lead on a path of self discovery and uncovered my gifts that lay underneath my masks. In my process of unlearning the strategies I developed in my childhood to keep myself safe, I learned that I didn’t have to be fiercely independent or isolate in my pain. Reaching out for support gave me the tools of self compassion, emotional regulation and acceptance of my authentic self. Finally, my gifts fully surfaced. Through practice, I built confidence and a solid foundation combining education and personal experience to become a Therapeutic Counsellor. My passion and empathy shine through when I help individuals who suffer from the effects of their struggles. My own deep work has taught me that humans are extraordinarily resilient and the universe can be a friendly place. Collectively we have the capacity to heal, especially if someone is willing to help.
That someone is who I have embodied.
