With 20 years of health care and counselling experience, I strive to create a safe environment where you can express yourself freely through a therapeutic art-making process. Having worked with children, youth and adults, I focus on helping all clients more deeply understand their unique situation and needs, guided by a belief that we all have the potential for self-discovery and healing.

A typical session involves a check-in, warm up and delving into the creative process using materials of your choice with paints, pastels, collage, and a variety of other mediums available at the studio. We leave space to observe and reflect together on the art piece created in session, the experience of making it and how it relates to your life.

Throughout the therapeutic journey together, I can help you identify the challenges that may be coming up for you and support you to work through ways to overcome. This can be using self-expression, nervous system regulation techniques and practices that you can apply to your every day life.

Along with adults, I also work with children and youth (7+), using the modality of creative arts to express feelings that are difficult to find the words for, along with helping to facilitate the awareness and ability to communicate what they might be experiencing.
