As a counsellor and art therapist, my hope is to offer the kind of presence that has been meaningful in my own life: someone who listens, stays curious, and walks alongside you through difficult moments. I believe that no one is beyond help, and therapy is a collaborative process, built on respect, trust, and genuine understanding.

My Experience

I began offering individual and group therapy as a student art therapist in Fall 2024. Over more than a year of practicum training, I worked in a senior home, an elementary school, and a counselling clinic. After graduating from the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute, I began my professional practice at FHL Clinics in January 2026.

I have experience working with various age populations on a range of concerns including developmental trauma and PTSD, attachment, grief and loss, life transitions, neurodivergence, executive-functioning difficulties, anger, and existential concerns.

My work with children and pre-teens primarily includes supporting emotional regulation, relationships, and developmental transitions. With adults, I have supported clients with attachment concerns, stress and anxiety. Moreover, I have worked with older adults through grief and loss, addressing major life adjustments, and exploring questions about meaning and purpose.

My Approach

My approach is trauma-informed, client-centred, and somatic and spiritually grounded. I adapt an eclectic approach and incorporate elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, narrative therapy and grief and loss theories into my practice. I see myself as a guide and companion as we explore your story, make meaning of your experiences, and discover new ways of action.

My training is rooted in art therapy, with foundations in psychotherapy and expressive arts therapy. You do not need any previous art experience or artistic skills to benefit from this approach. A willingness to be curious and try something new is sufficient.

Depending on what feels right for you, we might use painting, collage, clay, photography, creative storytelling, or other expressive activities. Sometimes an image or creative process can help us approach something difficult with greater distance, gentleness, and compassion, where words alone cannot be expressed fully.

I also incorporate body awareness and somatic approaches, particularly when working with trauma and overwhelming emotions. Developing awareness of the body can help us recognize and regulate stress responses, creating space for new perspectives, choices, and ways of responding.

A Space to Be Yourself

I value creating a safe and reflective space where your presence matter and your experiences are treated with care. I offer therapy in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and I value providing care that is responsive to each person’s cultural background and language preferences.

Outside of counselling and art therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature, playing the piano, board games, trying new restaurants, sharing meals, and travelling.
