I am a queer, cisgender, migrant, Latinx, Indigenous woman and mother offering trauma-informed counselling, clinical supervision and Expressive Arts Therapy on the traditional lands and unceded territories of thexʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I was born Lima, Peru to my Andean Indigenous family and I migrated to Coast Salish territories almost two decades ago. I strive to bring forward the wealth of knowledge and experiences I was offered with from my ancestral lands, traditions, communities and identities.
I am passionate and committed to offering a safe, transparent and nourishing holding space in the counselling and therapeutic relationship. I accompany folks with curiosity, playfulness, solidarity and humility.
I believe in the possibility of accessing our inner reservoirs of wisdom to embody and reclaim our sense of hope and justice through connection and consistency.
I have dedicated over a decade of my life supporting different communities and folks pursue their healing journey in different settings such as community based services, educational & health care settings, nature based and private practice.
I am committed to support survivors of all forms of trauma, including gender and sexualized violence, historical systemic oppression, folks navigating identities and life transitions, migrant and immigrant folks.
I have experience working with children (6 years+), youth, adults, BIPOC community members, as well as 2SLGBTQAI+ community members. At the core of my counselling offerings, I draw from intersectional feminist, anti-oppressive and social justice-oriented approaches.
