As he likes to say, “Together we can find your way.”
Charlie brings his experience of having lived in four countries and working in the corporate world to much of his clinical work. He has learned that authenticity is a critical factor in life as well as his practice.
Following his philosophy of full engagement with his clients, Charlie has worked in Vancouver’s downtown east side, recovery facilities, hospitals, and hospice care centres. As an undergraduate Charlie studied psychology and engineering. For two decades, he practised as an engineer in corporate environments while volunteering his skills and time in end-of-life care, outreach work for the homeless, youth work, as well as working in addiction recovery settings.
If you are struggling with a loss of direction or purpose, and want to rejuvenate life with renewed purpose, facing death or about to lose someone a loved one, Charlie will work with you to find peace and broader meanings so you can carry on with joy and loving memories.
By using a unique eclectic approach with Somatic observation, self-regulation skills, and transforming your perspective, Charlie can help you to see the world from a different perspective.
Charlie believes that Interpersonal relationship difficulties are often rooted in how we are raised, and can help you shift how your emotions respond to those events by taking you into the body’s physiological response.
Charlie can help you build resilience, and gain a sense of purpose by letting the “old self” go.
“Yes, it can be scary, but a new beginning is rewarding.”
