I became a counselling therapist because of my belief in the individual’s capacity for healing, growth and change. I desire to build safe environments for clients to experience this healing and growth.
I am trained in and practice from a spiritually integrated, person-centered, psychodynamic approach to counselling. My specialization is offering Christian counselling, however, I welcomes individuals of all faiths or of none.
I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor. I graduated from Newman Theological College, Edmonton with a Masters of Divinity in 2009. In 2005 I graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care. I have over 10 years of ministry experience which includes 5 years of pastoral counseling and chaplaincy at the University of Alberta. I am completing my thesis component of a Masters of Psychotherapy at St. Stephen’s College, Edmonton. I also have specialized training in offering telepsychology and am an EMDR Therapist
